I've been following the goings on over at Digg for a little while (shameless promo: refresh yourselves with a short history of Digg over here), and what never astounds me to this day, even with the latest changes and outrage on behalf of its top diggers is how silent Kevin Rose is.

I just migrated over here from Digg, so maybe I have "no right" to say this, but...is this place a little TOO obsessed with Rose and Digg? Can we go maybe a day without another story slamming digg.com or obsessing over how things work or what the plans are or how the users act/are treated?
It's coming off as "We're number 235523, so let's try to pick a fight with number one!"
This place has alot...a LOT going for it. How about talking about that once in a blue moon?

  Hey stark, I know there have been a recent influx of stories concerning Digg and/or Kevin Rose, but this is only fueled by the algorithm change. I have been posting what I find on the subject, but once the noise dies down from the web, I'm sure there will be much less to share on the subject.
  Having said that, I was/am a Digg user and even though I hate what has happened to the site since I've left, I don't make bias digg-related submissions. If I *could* find something positive to submit about Digg, I would.

    Fair enough! I didn't mean to come off like "I'm telling you all how to behave" or anything. I just see this place as a lot more fair, even-handed and less clique-y than digg, but postings that talk about digg all the time could turn people off.
    I know I'm right about this place being better because you didn't bite my head off. Nice to be able to have a decent conversation. :)

      Oh man, I know your pain on that one. Digg wasn't always like that, or at least for the first few months I was a member. Then there was a point where it seemed you couldn't escape the trolls and their off-colored comments.

  I would have to agree with TheAttacks. I think that since you happened to migrate over here at the time that digg made a huge algorithm change, you're noticing a larger number of digg stories than usual. I'm a recent transplant from digg so I'm semi qualified to say this....
