Posted by: JohnNeff 2 years, 8 months agoThe 2008 Mazda Tribute is a virtually identical version of the Escape save for the grille, headlights, taillights, front and rear bumpers and side skirts. Unfortunately it's your basic badge engineering job on a vehicle that doesn't even need to exist in Mazda's lineup.

Nov. 7, 2006, 7:14 a.m.I don't understand why they don't offer things like different grille, etc. as OPTIONS on the Escape, instead of a "different" car. The first car maker to offer true "mass customization" of their car will have something really cool. And no, the Scion doesn't count. Let's start with something other than a go-kart, shall we?
