Many of the signs of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes are similar. In both, there is too much glucose in the blood and not enough in the cells of your body. High glucose levels in Type I are due to a lack of insulin because the insulin producing cells have been destroyed.

      When I was diagnosised about the only thing I had noticed and complained to the doctor about was the extreme fatigue I was experiencing. I did have the slow healing cuts but I had been like that for years. Makes me wonder how long this had been going on.

        The bottom of your feet itch too and you don't have athletes foot.

        Fortunately if you catch it early enough in both these stages, a simple diet change can manage it. If not, your life will shortly not go where you'd like it to be...
