Sudan draws fire for civilian deaths
http://www.commercialappeal.com/mca/nation_world/a
"The Sudanese army and government-backed militias are committing acts of "inexplicable terror" against civilians, including children, in Darfur, the U.N.'s top humanitarian official said Saturday."
This is not in the online story but is in the printed version of my local paper --
"I saw a 2-year-old girl who was shot in the neck at point blank by a janjaweed," Egeland said. "This is an act of terror".
This is dispicable. Yet, most governments, including ours, make a few speeches about the situation and then do basically nothing.
Since our government will do nothing, Americans as individuals need to help by going to the URL in this post and/or to the ones I posted.
