I guess they needed to fill in the void left by Carmelo right away.

And those picks could be the last player taken in the first round with both Carmelo and Iverson playing together. I see salary cap problems down the road.

I wonder how long before Iverson sours on Karl. I don't see how in the world two scoring leaders can play for the same team. There is no way they will get the same number of shots they used to. I don't really think either of them can accept anything other than star status.

its about time they let him get out of philly. its been the same every year for about as long as i can remember. "iverson is on the block". i dont know how he could deal with that BS every year. i would have demanded a trade a long time ago. denver is definitly going to be a contender now thats for sure. as long as carmelo anthony can accept the fact that hes no longer the best player on the team and take it like a man not like a little whiny bitch like im sure he will. after seeing the way he acted the other day, he makes it hard to believe that he can be a man. take a foul and shut up. its part of the game, yes, the same game hes been playing since grade school.

I had the weirdest feeling that Iverson would end up in Denver someday, and that was before they even started talking about trading him.

This will definately make the Nuggets a top contender for the NBA championship this year and for years to come, as long as they can stay out of trouble.

I don't think Iverson and Anthony will be able to gel as teammates. They both want to be the leading scorer. Time, however, will tell.

I still don't think they surpass the Spurs or the Suns. We'll have to see how it plays out and if there will be enough points to go around.
