President George W. Bush said on Monday it was important for the United States and Europe to resolve differences in world trade talks that have been stalled because of disputes about farm subsidies.

    How come all of a sudden he is making all these anouncements about changes??? What is up with that and the last 6 years??

      While I do agree with you on the point of not blaming the president for everything just because he's the guy in the big chair, you made some dangerous stereotypes about Europeans as being "elitist, sniveling, silky boys" who apparently don't take showers. Just to let you know, I hate that stereotype. Europeans are a lot better than you make them out to be.

          Hmm....would these farm subsidies be the ones doled out to huge, corporate farms that need them the least....while the small, family farms continue to struggle....eventually to be swallowed up by the huge conglomerates?
