I think Adam Vinitari may be the best clutch player in sports, ever.

The guy is amazing. He doesn't seem fazed by the pressure at all.

          Here is more ammo:

"In the first 37 years of the Super Bowl, only three men have faced that pressure [to win the game] -- Jim O'Brien of the Baltimore Colts, Scott Norwood of the Buffalo Bills and Adam Vinatieri of the New England Patriots.

O'Brien converted a 32-yarder with five seconds remaining to give Baltimore a 16-13 victory against Dallas in Super Bowl V; Norwood missed a 47-yarder on the final play of Buffalo's 20-19 loss to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXV; and Vinatieri made a 48-yarder on the final play to give the Patriots a 20-17 victory against the St. Louis Rams two years ago."

When you think about it, all of the very good and close games are determined by a single kick.

Kickers are very important guys in the league, just not as exciting as everyone else. That's why they don't get the attention and recognition.

As for my vote, I would like to see any of these guys go out and do it themselves. What, they can't? Oh, you mean in order for them to be the hero, several others have to do something just as heroic, like keep the game close so that a measly field goal will win it. I guess I don't go in for who is the best stuff, when it comes to team sports. Like I said, when any of these kickers can go out and win a game with out the help of others, i will gladly give them thier due.

My vot would be Tiger Woods, and even he has a coach.

MJ, Montana, and several others are more gifted athletes and have made far more game deciding plays than the kickers mentioned.

How quickly we forget. A kicker may get pressure for one play in the game.

What about the guy who threw all those passes to Jerry Rice and beat the Bengals on a late SUPER BOWL drive and has what- four rings and a couple of MVP's - Joe Montana.
