The HD-DVD has been cracked, and high definition content is now being distributed freely over BitTorrent. We all knew this would happen sooner or later, looks it was "sooner". The first HD-DVD to be uploaded to BitTorrent is Serenity, the Firefly movie.

Wow, just under 20gb, I wonder how popular these will be to download.

  I suppose "free" HD content would be attractive to some. Unfortunately 20 gb is 1/3 of my internet provider's monthly transfer cap so I won't be partaking in that. I assume that is uncompressed data so I would imagine we could get that file-size considerably lower.
