New Netscape 9 Browser Coming Soon »

Netscape 9 will be a standalone browser, and from this screenshot, you can infer several things: unlike Netscape 8, Netscape 9 will contain support for news feeds (a.k.a. Live Bookmarks); it will also have tight integration with the Netscape.com service, as evidenced by the icons for the two available Netscape.com extensions (Friends' Activity Side

    I am really looking forward to a release date and testing out the browser. I hope it's what 8.0 was not!

      This should really be called Netscape Vista. A perfect sounding name.

              I wish they would allow email from other sources like they did in 7.2. I still use it, but it closes up on me a lot- I usually go to firefox for my web browsing, and keep 7.2 for my mail. If anyone knows how to transfer mail from other sources (eg. adelphia) to the new netscape browsers, please let me know. I would not mind upgrading... netscape is one of my favorite browsers.... IE sucks.

                  SeaMonkey 1.1 Suite does what Netscape 7.2 in Mac OSX does, but much faster. And even uses the latest Mozilla themes...
