Senate Dems Plan Floor Debate on Iraq »

Democrats intend to begin debate in the Senate next week on a nonbinding measure declaring President Bush 's planned troop increase in Iraq is "not in the national interest," officials said Friday, with a quick test vote likely.

    The Senate Foreign Relations Committee approved the measure Wednesday on a near party-line vote of 12-9, acting one day after Bush implored lawmakers in his State of the Union address to give his revised war strategy a chance to work.

      NON-BINDING our representatives are not representing their constituants. They are complete cowards in not seeking impeachment or stopping this sectarian civil war where America is in a no win situation.

      Rhetoric is all that comes out of their mouths rather than having convictions and acting upon them.

      George Bush is the empitomy of a man who thinks he has been annointed King Of America without any oversight by our representatives.
