Man gives finger to sheriff, crashes car »

Police said they arrested a South Charleston man for driving under the influence after he flipped his middle finger at Kanawha County Sheriff Mike Rutherford and then crashed his car. Glenn Harold Vickers, 53, was arrested Thursday night near the Microtel Inn off the Montrose Drive exit in South Charleston.

((Rutherford said he's not sure why Vickers made the obscene gesture. The sheriff said he had never met Vickers before.
"When he was stopped and I introduced myself, you could tell he was surprised," Rutherford said. "It was like all the air was taken out of him."))
Vickers is f---ed now! ;-)

Having lived in South Charleston and the vicinity for many, many (and maybe long enough to deserve yet another "many") years I just had to vote for this story. I was able to picture the scene so well.

I can't count the times this has happened to me - and not just in WV. Some hopped up nut who thinks that the world should revolve around him and that everybody else should get out of his way suddenly gives you the finger because you didn't do what his twisted little mind thought you should so.
It's so satisfying to see one taken down a notch.
Oh, and hey. Too bad about your car, fella! But look on the bright side. You probably won't be needing it for a while.

I found it interesting that the story started at the Microtel Inn off the Montrose Drive exit in South Charleston and ended at the Microtel Inn on Second Avenue. How many Microtel Inns are there in West Virginia any how?

I can't stand when people tailgate me.. I have a young child in the car and they don't care!!! It should not be done period! I just take my foot off the gas and slow down without braking.. usually this gets them off my rear!!
