Linux is lousy for games, Windows is a memory hog, OSX will force you get a Liberal Arts degree and recycle... but, I digress. We're here to dispel the myths, not spread them.

    The author should have given a shout out to IDSoftware. ID Software makes video games such as the Quake and Doom series, but one thing that sets them apart from other game developers. . . They ALWAYS release a Linux-native version of their games. Yep, I play Q4 and Doom 3 (and soon to be ET: Quake Wars) all on Linux.
