A notorious crack kingpin with ties to the hip-hop industry was convicted Thursday in a federal death penalty case for paying $50,000 to have two rivals gunned down in 2001.

"That man sitting in the courtroom is one of the most dangerous, feared, ruthless gangsters in all of Queens," prosecutor Carolyn Pokorney said during closing arguments. "And when Supreme gets in a fight with somebody ... he doesn't go to the cops. He doesn't hire a lawyer. He hires a hit team to assassinate them, to blow them away, so that their moms can barely recognize them when they go down to the morgue."

Hang'em,,having said that I know all that will happen is they will sit in prison and enjoy all the comforts of home..and continue to run his business from there

Drug ties to the hip-hop industry? No way. There all just nice guys who got lead astray,right? They mean well don't they,I mean their music says it all,doesn't it?I mean to have an almost infinite number of arrangements on a computer to track over with stuff I was coming up with when I was in grade school.These guys know all the chords,I mean they write their own arrangements and come up with new lyrics and orchestrate and play instuments and read and write music, don't they? This guy Supreme, is he some kind of a Diety or what?Out there busting his ass selling those drugs,that,s got to be hard work,doesn't it? Like, it's hard to recite iambic pentameter with all the words written down for you, isn't it? i mean, just cause some kids are dropping out of high school fully expecting to be rap artist,that's a good thing,isn't it?
