Sounds like a non-issue. The politicians have basically mandated that the so-called TV will go digitally very soon which will help free-up the radio waves for other uses... like tracking your every move. TV will probably go the cable route. Dems are kicking a dead horse. Anyone here understand this move better than me?

How about this? Let the radio stations sell the time to the talk show host and let the talk show host go out and get his or her own sponsor(s) to pay him or her. That way, the popular hosts will be able to meet their bills and earn a living; the others that no one wants to listen to will just go bankrupt, and hopefully just go away.

Well, the Democrats ARE like Hitler, so they would then be showing their true colors. With them it's all about total government control, just as it was with Hitler.

Interesting points on radio which have fulfilled a need, even though the article only targeted TV. Yes, the bill could be actually targeting other medias which the politicians can not control. Personally, I once thought radio was dead. Apparently, I was wrong :)
