Feb. 2, 2007, 8:16 a.m.well - they say that defense wins the game -
BUT - the QB for " DA BEARS " has had 6 games with a lower than 50 qb rating, and 3 in the SINGLE DIGITS
Anyway - I am AFC so - GO COLTS

Feb. 2, 2007, 11:05 a.m.As long as its a good, clean and close game, its all about the game and looking toward the game. On another note and at home plan to have plenty to drink, wings, chips, and everything else that does not include vegatable dishes, or anything fem.
The game is not a social party, and this is where I draw the line.

Feb. 2, 2007, 11:39 a.m.Manning will pick the Bear's defense apart just as he did the Chiefs, the Ravens (great defensive team) & the Patriots.
Colts by at least 7.

Feb. 2, 2007, 12:21 p.m.It's always offense. The team with the most points at the end of the game usually wins.

Feb. 2, 2007, 12:28 p.m.Great offenses with average defenses will always beat great defenses with crappy offenses(as the case this weekend). Rex Grossman is a joke.

Feb. 2, 2007, 2 p.m.An old coach of mine always told me that great offense wins games, but great defense wins championships. I just love the game.

Feb. 2, 2007, 2:05 p.m.Good pitching beats good hitting. OOPS, wrong sport. . .
OR IS IT?
I hear others of you also saying that the better QB will tear apart the defense.
My hat's off to Manning for pulling himself and his team together to beat my favorite team the Pats, after throwing a bonehead sideline interception and falling behind 3-21.
The Bears will be a worthy opponent, and my goal is to see a good game and fair and square winner.
Now how's that for a good cop-out?
And ya can't forget the name of the game, FOOTball, the kicking game. It could be mighty important, to invoke a cliche.

Feb. 2, 2007, 3:50 p.m.Offenses can't win games when they ain't on the field. Instead of "Remember the Alamo" we should "Remember Arizona" Defenses win Championships. GO Chicago

Feb. 2, 2007, 8 p.m.Who ever doesn't think that defense doesn't win championships must not have watched the super bowl in about two decades, teams with superior defenses win more often than not. Rex Grossman is not a championship quarterback that just goes to show you how dominating the bears def. and running game can be. If they can carry a bum like Grossman to the super bowl then I'm sure they can handle Peyton Manning.

Feb. 2, 2007, 8:16 p.m.Most of you must not have been watching the Colts in the playoffs, Manning's been worse than Grossman. The Colts are in the Super Bowl in spite of Peyton Manning, not because of him, Bears win.

Feb. 2, 2007, 8:40 p.m.Did you forget the last regular game of the season for the Bears, when the Packers made them look like high school players?

Feb. 2, 2007, 8:44 p.m.If defense wins championships, then the Colts will win. Their defense has been the best in the playoffs by a huge margin.

The packers were playing their hearts out to try and salvage a shred of pride and the Bears had absoulutely nothing to lose or gain from that game.
