Posted by: TechnologyExpert 2 years, 9 months agoSome hard-core methamphetamine addicts will do anything to get high, including collecting and drinking the urine of other users. Feb. 4, 2007, 1:22 p.m.What kind of life is this when you have to resort to drinking urine to satisfy your habit? I can't fathom why people would ever start taking drugs anyway. Unfortunately they do and you see a wasted human life thanks in part to the lowest form of life on earth.... the drug pusher.

Feb. 4, 2007, 1:32 p.m.I heard a drug addict once say about OXYs "The drug companies should never be allowed to make drugs that feel that good."
So if the legit drug companies are contributing to this type of abuse, what does it say as to how far man will go past any written laws and common sense.

Feb. 4, 2007, 2:58 p.m.As opposed to "soft" core meth users. Psuedephedrine is made in only 9 or ten places in the world. It's distribution is closely monitored these days.[how much sent to a particular country vs. amount of cold medicines produced,etc.]. Well, apparently the Mexican government cannot account for tons of overages]. Make no mistake folks, meth ain't nothing nice. I have wittnesed first hand how it changes people. It is evil. Freakin' tweakers gotta go.

Feb. 4, 2007, 3:29 p.m.its about time that these substance abusers have found a more organic way to get high. urine is not a chemical cocktail manufactured in an indian or new jersey chemical plant. . its about as home grown as something can get.

A friend of mine who ran a methadone clinic in NYC told me one of her main problems there was the number of people who would hang out outside the clinic, waiting for those treated inside to come out. Many who took the methadone inside would come out immediately after, vomit their pills (along with whatever else might have been in their stomachs) into a cup, and sell the "used" contents to others looking to get high.

Feb. 4, 2007, 8:23 p.m.Please try to understand that addiction is a disease, and a very misunderstood one at that. I never look at addicts as disgusting people or the scum of the earth. Most of them are decent people who've sorely underestimated the seductive and addictive power of drugs. They need our compassion and our prayers and, if we're able and they're willing, our help as well. I'm talking about treatment here, and not money.
I well know the lay-of-the-land: I was able to recover from a horrible speed, coke, and heroin addiction 19 years ago, and I thank God every single day that I was able to do so and live to tell it.

Feb. 4, 2007, 10:33 p.m.I see a lot of "those people" and "they" and "thems" here. Actually "they" would have been considered "we" and "us" before their addiction. All of you flinging all those 'Theys" and "thems" around have obviously never had a drug addiction like these people have. I'm sure the people drinking urine are probably the more destitute addicts and don't care much about anything else besides getting high. It's easy to judge others while you are posting on a computer connected to the web.
OMG, I sound like a liberal, must be a ****** in my armor. Well we all have our weak spots.

Feb. 4, 2007, 10:42 p.m.Notice this is on Fox. The outrage and disgust towards meth addicts helps to keep us from questioning what meth has to do with terrorism, or why showing your ID to buy cold medicine is included in Patriot Act II.

Feb. 4, 2007, 11:55 p.m.Meth is no way addictive. That is the person telling themselves this. You only get high for a day-after that it is a waste. I do not believe people believe this.
