Feb. 5, 2007, 3:11 p.m.Oil-rich Iran and Saudi Arabia have been at loggerheads - off and on - for decades, especially since the 1979 Shiite revolution toppled Iran's shah and swept Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini to power. But their leaders apparently felt the need to try to calm the situation, diplomats and analysts said.

Feb. 5, 2007, 11:15 p.m.This is a huge step for these two countries to even acknowledge each other. Looks like they're getting together for peace.I think Iran is trying everything to achieve peace in the region.

Feb. 6, 2007, 10:24 a.m.This is the time that Arab leaders should step up and help solve an Arab problem in the Arab region of the World. The U.S. is totally incapable of solving this problem and should just butt out. The time has come for Arabs to prove to the World that they are responsible, civilized people ready to participate in a Globalized World in a healthy way.
