From Latin America with Love; Thank You US for ignoring Us! »

Posted by: populist 2 years, 9 months ago

At this point, all we have seen is nothing more than the unlocking of the gates to allow passage of both political reform and economic equity for hundreds of millions of Latin Americans. Whether or not these peaceful socio-economic revolutions succeed, and to what degree, remains an experimental unknown for now.

Have people learned nothing in the last hundred years about how collectivist states inevitably end up? *sigh*

        Sound Reason:

I think you hit the nail square on the head!

The real reason behind "The Wall" on the US-Mexican border is a desperate attempt to keep the brownie-Spanish speaking, papist Roman Catholics out of WASP America´s backyard. Pure and Simple, the dialogue is:

"You can come grow my crops, then harvest my crops, make my bed, wash and iron my clothes, cook my food, and pay taxes on what miserable wages I pay you"; BUT, when the day is over, "Go back behind The Wall".

        Total Hypocritic racism.

        Totally "White Space!!"

            manorak,

Really, Russia had successful companies that Soviet Union wiped out? Name one? If socialism is so bad for economy, why is it that Soviet Union never asked US for a hand-out? And only once it collapsed the republics that it consisted of started asking the west for aid, how do you explain that? Also how do you explain that living standards have worsened or that life expectancy dropped in Russia and former Soviet Republics?

I guess you prefer to ignore facts when they don't support your claims, which is why you usually don't cite them, right?

I think the underling problem with South American countries is that for years their gov. have blamed their poverty on the US instead of taking the responsibility for their selves. Because of this attitude it's dammed if you do and dammed if you don't.The article said we gave them 1$ per person per year "your welcome" its better than 0$.

What other countries gave you money and how many other countries around the world did we give money to?

"...it's about them; about people freeing themselves from us, the 'corporate America' that has kept the powerless in those nations as permanent beggars, at times mistakenly looking northward for alms."

THAT SAYS IT ALL. BUT LOOK DEEPER. Thanks to our pirate friends south of the border the corporations further enslave U.S. citizens. They steal jobs that increase our societal burden which in turn increases our taxes, all to the benefit of the uber slime rich who own the corporations.

They come here, work for next to nothing, pay little or no taxes, and spend little in our economy. The money they earn goes back to latin american.

DO NOT THINK WE ARE NOT PAYING DEARLY FOR THE RICH WHO ARE PROSTITUTING THE LATINS AS WELL AS U.S. CITIZENS. The rich love it when they kill more than one bird with the same stone's throw.

                  Ive said this before

the past owners of the hotel I work for would not even alow me to give a application to a person applying for housekeeping or maintenance unless they spoke spanish.Front desk of course the other way around.

They aslo owned a roofing and a construction company and had the same practice there.

Every Latin person that worked for them was super nice and appreciated being here and working but that doesnt excuse the fact that americans were left out so that they could work for less money. Its greedy business owners fault for this mess we're in and every one of them needs to be held accountable for this. theres a reason that some are called illegal aliens, if theyre not illegal they deserve the same opportunity as every other american. Also I always hear people try to say that Americans wont do the work, well your uninformed.Hundreds of thousands of men and women in jail for child support etc. could be paying for their stay in jail and get job training for later.

Mexico, for one does not want any change to the US immigration "policy" (what a joke)

The money that is sent back to Mexico by the illegals is a major part of their economic plan. What genius is this?

You have a huge cash influx, no cost associated with it, and the cash senders are all in a different country putting all their costs on to that country. It is a pure win situation for Mexico.

                      Vivan los illegales.
