Two Months Before 9/11, an Urgent Warning to Rice »
Posted by: Wil 2 years, 9 months agoTenet hoped his abrupt request for an immediate meeting would shake Rice. He and Black had two main points when they met with her: al-Qaeda was going to attack American interests, possibly in the United States itself. Black emphasized that this amounted to a strategic warning, and this was a major problem that needed to be addressed immediately.

Feb. 9, 2007, 1:27 p.m.I never felt the Secretary of Snake was qualifed for the job she holds. She should be one of the people to come out and publicly apologize for her failure.

Feb. 9, 2007, 3:31 p.m.Is it really necessary to discredit our Secretary Of State, Condi Rice as a SNAKE???... Ms. Rice has many accomplishments in her career and has made a multitude of contributions to all Americans... The comments are un-called for and Usually this is a sign of an Un-refined, Un-educated, and ill-informed individual???
Before making unfounded disparaging comments to any individual, it would be prudent on the part of the commentator to establish his/her credentials and accomplishments in the same arena... Otherwise, as the saying goes, 'it is easier to criticize then to be Right'???
What a Cheap Shot, How Shallow and Pathetic???
Sincerely,

Feb. 9, 2007, 4:31 p.m.At the time Ms. Rice was the National SECURITY Advisor to POTUS. The only other thing Mr. Tenent could have done to further stress his point would have been to stamp URGENT on his forehead. The urgency of the matter was ignored by the National SECURITY Advisor and POTUS. The Pres. of the U.S. and the National SECURITY Advisor where both in the same room at the same time.

Feb. 10, 2007, 11:42 a.m.While this is old news(oct. 2006), it is important to have it surface from time to time. Condi is a liar, and a failure as National Security Advisor and Secretary of State.
I wish her supporters would list here some of her accomplishments in this administration. Is the Middle East more or less peaceful during her tenure? Is North Korea less a threat to it's Asian neighbors? While she can certainly talk her way out of any contraversial questions presented her by interviewers regarding her or the administration's behaviour; results speak louder than words. Her legacy: 3100 dead Anericans in Iraq, and the squandering of billions of dollars in that misguided "war on terror" waged in Iraq where none of the 9/11 bombers may have never set foot.
