Feb. 10, 2007, 1:06 a.m.That disaster pipeline into Florida has been open all the time brother Jeb was Governor in Florida, and his brother George managed to fill those requests every time. This is exactly as the relationship between FEMA and the people in States in need after a disaster should be. But you need to give credit to Florida's disaster preparedness, every time they did this better than everyone else did this. What should have gone in after the Gulf Coast disaster, was Florida's disaster preparedness teams with their FEMA counterparts. They had public misses but they seem to have done this all before better than anyone, if Jeb's looking for a public service job, to make up for his brother poor poll ratings he could take the FEMA directors job, and get this done right every time. Any push he made for these people caught in the Christmas tornados, well say thank you but lets still give credit to Florida's disaster preparedness.
