Slashdot is previewing a new system that allows users to vote for or against stories. It is suspiciously similar to digg.com The current beta is invite only so I have uploaded a screen shot to flickr for all to see. .

    It's an interesting feature. You can vote up or down on the Firehose submissions, but it doesn't display how many votes a story has received.
