Feb. 12, 2007, 1:43 p.m.DaiMon Bok was indeed a cool evil character. I enjoyed the reprise of his role several seasons later when he tried to get revenge on Picard again.

Feb. 12, 2007, 2:08 p.m.Wil... did you as a young actor every poke back at the writers or was "talent" always kept at arms length? I can see someone as experienced as Patrick saying "hey guys...this needs work.." but the new kid on the block?
Great job on the reviews... you should be gathering them in book form!

Feb. 12, 2007, 2:41 p.m.Man Wil, you write the best reviews.... They make me want to print it out so I can read it while I rewatch the episodes for the 9327y092th time, just to get that little bit more out of it.
Thanks a ton!

Feb. 12, 2007, 4:06 p.m.I think these reviews are like valuable therapy, which help me dissociate the hatred I had for Wesley from the actor that is Wheaton.
Although maybe not as good as Wheaton's, these episodes were during my "good old days", too.

Wil you should not talk of your Mother like that.

Feb. 13, 2007, 8:40 a.m.You know Will I am struck by the fact that you repeatedly try to downplay the abilities of the other actors. Then its the writers fault that everyone hates poor Wesley. Sounds like "big" Wesley has some issues he needs to work through. I'm not a "trekkie" but I would say that my wife is. She loved TNG. So I usually went along for the ride. I never once heard her say anything derogatory about Wesley or anyone else in the show. Maybe, you're just giving to much credit to the impact the show had on people. Most of us HUUMAANS just recognized the show as good entertainment. I admit I could only get about half way through your review. I did not find it as funny as the rest obviously did. Sorry....

Feb. 13, 2007, 11:18 a.m.Good review Wil. I think, if anything, that you are ragging on Wesley and your portrayal of him too hard. As much as it may hurt my 'street cred' to say so, I always *liked* Wesley. I think he was never used as well as he could have been, but he still was my connection to the show, a way for me to fantasize about being there in his stead (which was probably the intention for him all along).
Don't be so hard on yourself!

Care to be adults about it instead of crying to Karina?

Feb. 17, 2007, 7:47 p.m.Hollywood, as usual, chooses to ignore the best and brightest in terms of the staid and (presumed) commercially palatable. In other words, they know cheese wiz sells so why go for the really good stuff and take a risk? Uh.. because the really good stuff is people or work like Wil.
