Construction of the first-ever vault to protect the world's agricultural seeds is scheduled to get underway in March on an island in the Arctic archipelago between the North Pole and Norway.

    Seems like a safe idea, yet scary that someone thinks it's necessary.

    Will the entire rainforest oneday be nothing but seeds in cold storage?
