The green house gases are bound to skyrocket.

Feb. 17, 2007, 10:40 a.m.Man continues to industrialize and burn, CO2 going up, what a surprise. When nature makes the _hit hit the fan, I can not wait to hear all the elected officials in the media whining, oh but we didn't know soon enough, it was out of our control, it would have happened anyway, etc, etc.. then they will take shelter in their high ground, privately guarded real-estate compounds. Man has not changed in thousands of years in certain core aspects. We need a mutation. Where are the X-men when you need them...

Feb. 17, 2007, 10:54 a.m.Here's an idea to prove that these so called greenhouse gases won't hurt anything. Let's hack up all the earth's rain forests and burn them, releasing CO2 and simultaneously getting rid of the trees that convert CO2 back to Oxygen...
Oh wait, we're already doing that too, aren't we. Brilliant.
