    Shouldn't the illegals have a say in the future of our country?

        Because believe it or not, a lot of people (especially minorities in large urban areas) do not have ID's!

        Think about it, if you live in a place with public transportation and you don't have (or can't afford) a car, what reason would you have to go down to the DMV to get a driver's license? Assuming of course that you can afford it?

        Plus, the amount of ID that you have to already have in order to get these things has gotten ridiculous. Have you tried getting a passport lately? It's way too expensive, and you have to have 5 gazillion other forms of ID in order to get one.

        Let's not forget that no citizen is required to have ID at all times.
