I have both of these stores in my area along with the very favorite home grown New Seasons. They are all great stores and do huge business. I'm very glad to see these stores growing a a good rate. If you've seen the documentary--The Future of Food--you will be very happy we have these stores to shop at.

Wild Oats is affordable, Whole Foods is far too expensive for what they provide. This isn't good news.

I think it is good news, Whole Foods is a really great store and a very green company. You might pay a little more, but the owner pays and treats his employees right!

        I LOVE Whole Foods!

FYI, Whole foods is a publicly traded company. There are many many owners.

While I have been shopping at Whole Foods Market for years now. The Original one being on Lower Greenville Ave. since the late 80's. They have not changed for the better. The prices are high and you can not always get the same product all the time. Diffrent brand names and such from week to week. Hopefully they will have better distrabution from other companies now. Although I have to say even though it is expensive the meats from there or H.E.B.'s Central Market or the best.
