At first I thought that. But, now I am thinking that there are more troops being pulled out of Irac. If England pulls out will he ever see any action?

good for you. thanks for your comments. lack of recognition for American standards. Could this be part of the reason the US has a decline in respect globally...Also, loosing Blair's influence but gaining Harry's perspective may be some compensation, we'll see

I appreciate the fact that he wants to go, but he is already being called a "bullet magnet" by those who are serving with him. I wish him all the best and a safe return.

Oustanding! This shows a very strong sense of civic duty in this young man. I have never been a follower of the Royals, but I am inspired by this.

He could be a major target, symbolically speaking. I wonder if while he's there he might reflect upon the wrongness of stealing other peoples resources, like his family has been doing for centuries.

But since the British are pulling out soon, he's probably getting there in just enough time to clean up the empties.

Sounds as though he's an idealistic young man, which is not surprising for someone of his age. I hope those around him do not become targets by their proximity to the young prince. I also think that this may hasten England's withdrawal from the whole place. And that is a good thing. Would that we would do the same.

It is all BS, he is just ****** spoiled rich boy. Why does he have to go?? It is not going to change anything. How many soldiers would be wasting their time looking out for his safety??

soldiers are coming back...it is not like he is going for an attack now..

he just wants to make his older brother look bad

Thank you. Although I wonder if it isn't the other way around...is his deployment timed for withdrawal, or is withdrawal timed for his deployment?

He's apparently grown up to be a fine man. No greater love nor greater honor then for a man (or women) to lay down his life for another. A sharp contrast to most children of priveledge, including our President's, who could easily volunteer their time to help out the wounded or the families of their contemporaries who have given all in the performance of their duty.

                            God's speed Harry!

It is interesting to hear this right after Tony Blair just announced that they are removing some of the troops from Iraq. He's going to be a major target because word spreads and I will not be suprised if anything serious happens.

Very admirable, I doubt it has anything to do with the announcement of British withdrawal. Harry will see plenty of action before that happens.

I think it is noble of the Royal family that their children serve in their Army.

Now, time for the USA to adopt the same policy and the children of Statesmen here must serve. That would thwart the warhawk efforts to get other people's children killed.
