Texas governor still defends forcing pre-teen girls to vaccinate »

Gov. Rick Perry on Thursday angrily defended his relationship with Merck & Co. and his executive order requiring that schoolgirls receive the drugmaker's vaccine against the sexually transmitted cervical-cancer virus.

    The purpose of widespread innoculation is to prevent highly communicable diseases from causing major out breaks through incidental transmission. This is not the case for cervical cancer. Besides some genetic inheritance, the only other manner linked with some cervical cancer may be attributed to early sexual activity especially with multiple partners.

    I see no reason for a govenor to have minors under parental/gardian care to be forced into subjection of medical intervention that may not even be suitable for the individual.

    Enact educational programs, present vouchers to low income parents that want to participate, but leave it out of heavy handed deciders. Not everybeing is cattle.
