Most Americans Would Vote For A Gay Man Or Lesbian For President »

A new poll indicates that a majority of Americans would vote for a gay person for president. The Gallup survey finds that 55% of respondents would vote for a gay candidate if he or she were "generally well-qualified."

        Chalk me up as one who doesn't give a flying fork about a candidates orientation, or if he or she enjoys ketchup vs. mustard. Whatever.

        Just have a fine working brain, and I will entertain you as a possible person to vote for.

          Just getting someone in the white house that is intelligent, willing to serve and cares about the American people and educated in how to do that successfully...would get my vote regardless of the labeling of their sexuality. why would I or anyone else care about that?

            They must have polled San Fransico, or a gay bar. With the

            no gay marriage laws passing in every state that put them on the ballot by 70% and there were alot of them. I can't believe a Fair poll would yield that result, no way.

              survey finds that 55% of respondents would vote for a gay candidate, I found that to be a big surprise too...I'd be happier if I thought it was true! and even happier if that percentage was higher!

                This article is obviously another ploy to see what people would do. I would not vote for a person like this.
