    It has been my amature observation that this disorder, or some form of it is very common in women. Seriously, I can think of several women I know personally who complain of suspcions of a different illness from time to time. It seems that their complaints will resemble the symptoms of whatever is making the news at the time. Most of these women seem to suffer more from the stress than anything else.

      I used to suffer from hypochondria, now I take a plabebo twice a day. It has really helped.
