Frustrated with buying a new CD and then spending 20 minutes in the parking lot trying to get through the shrink-wrap so that you can actually listen to it on the way home?

    I have problems also with other wraped tite products. To solve

    that I put a small little jacknife in the ash tray. It stays there till needed

    To be truthful it was my wifes idea. Simple but works.

        The worst is all that sealing tape on the edges of DVDs. Too much crap!!!

          If it takes more than ONE minute to open a CD, I don't even want to think how long it takes these people to open the player.

              What I don't understand is why they're doing it at all, I thought all you yanks were served by staff who do everything for you. Just take it back to the shop and get them to open it for you!

                    What I hate more than CD packaging is packaging made of that almost hard clear plastic. The kind you have to cut open generally which ends up with edges sharp enough to cut.

                    Why not use thin cardboard that can be recycled?

                      I tried this assinine trick a few years ago and permanently marred the edge of my desk.
