Feb. 27, 2007, 10:39 a.m.Another brilliant commentary from Olbermann. That "use the Google" line was clever:

Feb. 27, 2007, 11:38 a.m.There is something so comforting when it comes to historical facts. They're indisputable. However,it's another thing when those facts are juxtapositioned to attempt to validate an otherwise rediculous set of statements from someone who knows exactly what she is saying. And hopes that the rest of us, have no clue concerning history.Olbermann hits it on the nail time after time.

Feb. 27, 2007, 12:05 p.m.I disagree with Olberman on one comment; "you can't fool"....and oh yes you can. A few million Americans are parroting Rice as I type this. I swear I can hear them with their big mouths. Historical facts have no place where ignorance resides, and it's that ignorance that Rice targets.

Feb. 27, 2007, 12:37 p.m.Unfortunately, you're so correct.
Historical facts have no place where ignorance resides. You've written a Great statement.
At this rate, Historians, as well as History Books will serve no purpose due in part to the increasing amount of individuals that rely only on FOX and other news outlets, that distort not only the current issues, but historical facts as a whole.
Ah, they've been reduced to living in the managed world of the present. Such a disservice to everyone.Divide by design.Hmmm Does not look good I'm afraid and it speaks volumes of a society that's been fostered/conditioned over the years. It's as though all long term memory has been deleted. Not a good sign.

Feb. 27, 2007, 2:28 p.m.I always stay tuned when Olbermann starts the show with a note that there will be a special comment.
Those comments have yet to be anything except true to the mark on how our government is lying to us and distorting the truth. This one again followed in the steps of the prior ones.
He even pointed out that yes after WWII the goverment came back to congress asking for a new resolution and funding to rebuild Europe. As he indicated the one who asked congress was George C. Marshall (remember the Marshall Plan) who was a prior holder of the Secretary of State Office.
All the truth is fully covered in historical documents of the State Department, but of course why should anyone in this administration be interested in the truth as it exists. If it doesn't hold potential to scare the public into blind submission then they don't want to let it out true or not.
Condi needs to go back to school for a 5th grade education in truth.

Feb. 27, 2007, 3:43 p.m.Of course Ubermann forgets that Sadaam was part of the Baathist party and guess were they can train their origins to? Nazi Germany.

Feb. 27, 2007, 3:44 p.m.Her statement makes perfect sense to me. Sounds to me like Olberman, the clueless wonder of the world, trying to interject his normal Bush Administration bashing.

Feb. 27, 2007, 4:18 p.m.((Olbermann argues that "you can't cherry-pick life - whether life in 2007, or life in the history page marked 1945,))
but apparently it's okay for him to cherry pick what he wants. That interview was about 1/2 hour long and has been so distorted -- both by Olberman and the other thread that was posted here before.
I know it's too much to ask those who are opposed to Bush and company to watch the whole interview with an open mind (aren't I a dreamer) but it would be nice....

Feb. 27, 2007, 4:38 p.m.Freedom of Speech is a two way street...Olberman is driving on the RIGHT side. He represents alot of voiceless Americans. He is saying what alot of us are thinking.

Feb. 27, 2007, 4:43 p.m.Wow....Olberman is an idiot. Talk about political spin. Both Saddam and Adolph were blood thirsty dictators. The comparison is accurate and does NOT denigrate anyone.
Olbermans dislike of the Bush administration is so overpowering, he actually thinks he is making a contribution to the public conversation.
The more he says things like that, the less likely that I will watch him.

Feb. 27, 2007, 4:50 p.m.This is news? Did Olberman tire of the 24X7 Anna Nicole coverage on MSNBC and want to give us some more comic relief, or what? What a pompous geek!

Feb. 27, 2007, 4:53 p.m.Olberman is ss bright as an appliance light bulb. He needs someone to hammer on him for a while instead of the other way around. Get off of Mr.O you Nittwit, and go back to interviewing the other Nittwit ,Cindy Sheham.

Feb. 27, 2007, 5:32 p.m.I just love the bashing of the media on here
The left hates Fox News etc
The right claims the 3 major networks and CNN are biased.
Where do I place Olbermann?? Perhaps he said it best after leaving ESPN in his essay on Salon.com entitled "Mea Culpa":
he conceded that his own insecurities and neurotic behavior had led to many of his problems at work.
Neurosis can be treated but looks to me like he decided to pass on the therapy!
I would hardly call Obermann unbiased!

Feb. 27, 2007, 6:19 p.m.Typical RepubliCON tactic. Attack and dismiss the person, but don't address the facts.

Feb. 27, 2007, 6:22 p.m.Its a typical political tactic. Neither a republican nor democrat tactic. Both sides are too pathetic to make their own tactics. They re-use old tactics that once worked (Just like Hollywood).

Feb. 27, 2007, 6:37 p.m.The Democrats bash the Republicans. The Republicans bash the Democrats. One of the greatest strengths our country has had is the ability of the 2 major political parties to "pull together" and get the job done. I fear that we may be quickly becoming the laughingstock of the world as the people around the world watch and listen as we try to "kill" each other with our words. Leaders in both major political parties vow that their main concern is whatever is in the best interest of our great country, when in fact their major concern seems to be in furthering their own party interests at the expense of whoever gets in their way...BOTH parties!!!

Feb. 27, 2007, 6:52 p.m.Well I must respectfully disagree...I give you the Congressional nonbinding resolution voted on by the Dems as a high noted voice to the world about what they really think of the war and especially the troops there.Granted , there were some Repubs in on that vote but it was the Dems who brought it up.

Feb. 27, 2007, 7:24 p.m.That's because you're not use to hearing the true side of the story which is far different than what you're use to listening to. LMAO
