also I like to add is when a Species from Space lands and desires our delectables on the plate (what's that race from another planet on Stargate Atlantis?...)or that memorable episode from the twilight zone "to serve man?" and we find ourselves under appetizers some will say "Hey wait a minute this sounds strange but familiar....look its leg of man, sauteed human liver with onions, and for dessert Baked State of Alaska.

On a more positive note, it may be the Earths way of telling us all the creatures, plants, insects and animals haven't been DISCOVERED yet to be eaten or exploited and maybe there is still a spark of hope left...even for us.

Could it be that new species are still evolving? God has not stopped creating yet.

One can only hope that intelligence would respect intelligence and not view us as food. Of course there are cannibals, but that is an exception. Personally I would include any animal capable of using language as intelligent, making the larger primates that can use sign language off limits as food.
