Student Charged in Bomb, Anthrax Scare »
Posted by: STONERS 2 years, 8 months agoThe student, 22-year-old Sujithkumar Venkatramolla, was arrested on campus early Tuesday after walking into a civil engineering building armed with a knife, holding paper bag and saying he had a bomb and anthrax.

Feb. 28, 2007, 11:06 a.m.Police eventually subdued him with a stun gun after he refused to drop the knife, interim Police Chief Mark Kearse said.
Kearse said the student was depressed and apparently distraught over grades.
What did he think-he would get an A after this...

Feb. 28, 2007, 6:02 p.m.In many jurisdictions, if you hold up someone with either a real gun or toy gun you are charged with the same crime. The reason is obvious. The person(s) being held up are being threatened with a lethal weapon from their view point.
The same goes here. Regardless of the reason, this person perpetrated the crime of executing a Bomb threat and threat of deadly bacterium release to a large populous. In essence he should be charged with two counts of Acts of Terrorism.
