After all, what could possibly make you want to buy insurance more than a giant eagle pooping out an egg on the hood of your car! LOL!

I remember feeling sad while watching nature specials on american bald eagles as a child. It seemed so unfair that I would never get to see one in person. Then, in 1996, I moved to SE Georgia. There was an eagle preserve on the military post that was practically right outside my door. I saw eagles on a regular basis for more than three years until I moved again. It's great to know that people can make enough of a difference, to save these glorious creatures from near-extinction. This commercial, on the other hand, was just plain stupid.

Oh my God, ind. I haven't seen that in years. It used to air all the time. Do you remember it from your days in Chicago?

I remember that every time I saw that low-budget classic, I thought it was incredibly icky. (Stupid word, but very descriptive in this case.) I also remember thinking that everyone who sees this commercial will remember it. I don't know if Eagle Insurance got many customers from it, but it sure stuck in my mind. I remember having nightmares about Eagle Man.

There were a few other Eagle Man commercials that aired after this one--some of them guest-starred a truly un-funny Howard Stern wannabe named "Mancow" who was popular here. I guess the company thought it was a pretty good campaign.

Boy! That egg would make one helluva omelette! Let me figure out this equation:

Big Bald Eagle laying one BIG fat egg on top of a car plus 2 women with outdated hairdo's plus auto insurance =

uh, I dunno - go figure..

            commercials!

            :-/

Now that was some seriously bad acting and the egg well if you saw the clip enough said. EE I think you should sue for defamation of character.

                    That is easy, the Egg.

We are decendents of the dinasour "Volusaraptor" which was the most fierce dino. of all. Some where one of them laid an egg that was the start of evolution for my ancestors to have feathers instead of scales. We hatched out of the egg with fluffy stuff on us instead of just scales. Scared the hebie jebies out of our Ancestrial Grand mother but she nurtured us. She was quite shocked to see her young jump from a branch and soar in the air. That is ancient history handed down to us from our elders.
