I use the word gay in the above context all the time (it really freaks my hubby out) but in this instance it is:

7. a homosexual person, esp. a male.
8. in a gay manner.
William Shatner sang this song in a gay manner. Hugging Mike Douglas on stage is very gay.

How long ago was this done? In what millennium was this taped. Mr. Shatner's singing would never get him on American Idol. And his wiggle dancing style is a bit weird. But it did make me laugh.
Are they gonna do a sequel? Maybe something like "keep it sane?"

ind06 - No offense on my above post. Both my wife and I appreciate Bill now that he has ripened. He is great in Boston Legal though and thats how we think of him. The senile gentleman of past intelligence. The character Denny Crane is quite entertaining.
