March 3, 2007, 11:47 p.m.Well, I'll be. This article by Robert Novak sounds,..."Fair and Balanced!" Go Go Gonzales!!!! Another Atty. loses her cushy political job. Am I expected to shed a tear??? Sorry, but John and Martha Q. Public are more concerned with the small stuff...like interest rates, retirement savings, health care, and etc.
The DEMS would be very stupid to waste political capital on an investigation that is clearly nothing more than whiney behavior from someone cut-off the public teat.

March 4, 2007, 12:57 p.m.All U S Attorneys serve at the pleasure of the President. No reason has to be given for termination. Mr. Clinton replaced all of them shortly after taking office and replaced them with his choices. The AG owes no one an answer except the President. The cases stay with the office while the attorneys move on.
