Mr. Obama needs to expect many barbs to come at him from all directions. He is black. He has a long row to hoe in the land of the free and bless him for his courage. He just might make it.

They're going to go over Mr. Obama with a fine tooth comb and I believe who ever is looking at him under the microscope will find absolutely nothing corrupt about him now or in his background.

Unfortunately for us, they failed to do the same thing when Bush/Cheny announced their bid for election the first time and the second time.Where was the scrutiny then when we most needed it?

I have to admit, I'm not familiar with the Rezko issue, but I agree that the Mr. Obama has intergrity. A trait that has been missing for quite sometime in the political arena.

I think this goes back to the need to address fully, campaign finances, contributions, gifts as well as where one decides to invest .Otherwise, the ability to influence and design policies for special interests groups will always remain as a major issue that has led to abuse and corruption. An entire industry was created based on the needs of a select group.

On the other hand, I can't understand statements I get from my investment co.One has to dig deep in order to find out where their investments are going, especially when it's a huge umbrella group that is hard for me to track. I'm not a Finance type of person. But the way corps merged, many would be surprised to know where their investments go. Not that they are aware of any direct connection with a solid puropose of support in mind.I can't even add 2 2.:-)

People say that Obama is a man of integrity and I believe they say this because he gives really good speeches.

My gut tells me that he is an okay guy too but I have nothing to base that on other than my internal feeling.

He will be scrutinized like every single presidential candidate gets scrutinized. I hope they find nothing. We won't know until we get there.

John Wayne Gacy was an upstanding, respected businessman...until they found 20 dead boys buried in his basement. I don't intend to compare Obama to Gacy. The point is that appearances are just that, appearances.

When you look beneath the surface, you will find the good or the bad. I hope they find the good in Obama.

The truth is there is good and bad in all people. I believe when Obama wrote his book he pretty much laid it on the table. Every person he has ever engaged with will have their phones tapped. Another Bush party wind machine activity.

Any of you who think you can connect "integrity" with "politician" are living with Alice in Wonderland....and probably injesting the same drugs. There is no such thing as a politician with integrity...it just don't exist.
