    "Both theater attendance and DVD sales are down..."

    But ticket and DVD cost is up! So, where is the "beef"?

      While I prefer to watch at home now because of the lower cost (8.50 for a popcorn?!) and convenience of pause/go back , most of the movies I have seen in theaters I will probably rent at some time or another anyway. If I had the instant choice of home vs away I would most likely choose home.
