Posted by: TimALoftis 2 years, 9 months ago

This leaked report is intended as a follow-up to a larger summary report released by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change last month. The new report goes into detail about surprising changes to the way we live. It alleges that climate changes are happening faster than earlier predicted.

i believe this has already happened many many times in the history of the world--and people either migrated to areas that would sustain them or they perished--as they will this time one way or another--and no amount of carbon trading or prius cars will change that--its just the ultimate in liberal arrogance to think we can legislate climate change--we live where we do..and the earth will have the ultimate say in how we survive--and BTW..malaria is already an out of control epidemic in much of the tropics and africa--perhaps 50 million dead so far--and not because of global warming--but because we banned the use of DDT--so now we have another 6 species of some furry little bird still somewhere--but milions and millions of dead little brown people--but that would be OK with PETA and the liberal left i suspect..the animals were here first after all

If you had studied logic, you would know that your arguement is called a "slippery slope". Nice try though

I noticed the phrase "edited by the government" in that story. Fail to ignore this "report" at your own risk. Aside from the suspicion I have that there are some people pushing (and pushing, and pushing) this global warming agenda who have something to gain (financially, that is) I have to also say: So what? It's a little bit whacky to think that we as a species can effect the climate of an entire planet. We have a great deal of technological power, sure, but compared to the power of the sun -- it's NOTHING. A MINOR fluctuation in solar output easily trumps anything we could do. And, these predictions of doom and gloom also contain the remedy to the "problem." If that many millions die off as promised, man-made planetary pollution will drop dramatically, yes? There is a certain element of homeostasis here on the part of the solar system and mother earth.

Didn't scientist 30 years ago predict global cooling? An ice-age was coming?

What did those scientists say when they were wrong? Oops? Sorry?

              Yeah...ok. Thanks for your predictions.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is not a credible. That's like having Libya on the Human Rights commission of the UN. This is nothing more than propaganda. If you want to discuss climate changes, find someone that isn't funded by the DNC.

This doesn't suprise me, it's not the first time the IPCC report has underestimated the effects of global climate change. I'm sure they're forced to tone down their predictions due to politics and big oil. We've witnessed first hand here in the US of the Bush admin and big oil's attempts to manipulate and alter any reports for their own agendas with great success.

putting global warming and the Bush agenda in the same sentence is stupid. The global warming crowd is where the commies have gone to, they just call themselves something else now. I thought Bush was a fascist, can't you people make up your mind.
