STONERS
March 13, 2007, 10:41 p.m.Mexican police responded by unleashing tear gas and pepper spray, throwing rocks and clubbing demonstrators with batons.
Several protesters were arrested or injured, one with blood pouring from his head.
The demonstrators burned U.S. flags and waved banners with slogans against the U.S. president, such as one which said: "Bush you are not welcome in Mexico. Go to Hell."

March 13, 2007, 11:19 p.m.((Lorenzo Fernandez, the commanding officer at the scene, said the police were only defending themselves. "These are people who don't know how to demonstrate pacifically," he said.))
Naw...d'ya think?
Too bad though you could see this coming a long ways off!

March 14, 2007, 7:32 a.m.After all Bush has done for Mexico: Easing their population pressures, "guarding" the border with unarmed National Guardsmen, prosecuting Border Patrolmen for shooting drug smugglers, to name a few. What ingrates!

March 14, 2007, 9:15 a.m.Amazing...they hate america but we can't seem to keep them out...we should just start shooting illegal aliens as they cross...give the national guardsmen full permission to kill them...if they stop coming, great! If they don't, Great!
Either way we win.

March 14, 2007, 4:51 p.m.Their could not have been dissatisfaction in Mexico. This is all a ruse. All Mexicans are now in America taking Amrican jobs illegally, there is no Mexicans left in Mexico.

March 14, 2007, 4:57 p.m.What "tough immigration policy"? The only thing we don't do to make it any easier to cross the boarder illegaly is have buses shuttle them in. I guess the real reason they are upset is that they are the few who are not bright enough to figure out how to sneak over. Maybe the U.S. Government could publish a pop-up book that explains how to sneak across easily.

March 14, 2007, 6:13 p.m.They come here illegally, suck 35 billion a yr in free med care, and complain and raise mexican flags, waiving them saying how great mexico is, if it is that great go home, the line is real short heading south, and as for the pop up book on how to get in,Vincentes Fox already published it, the how to manual...what a crock, oh yeah, and demanding "rights" they are not entitled to because they are here illegally, and even being I believe the 5th largest producer of oil, mexicos biggest source of income is Western union from here to there, a majority of which I might ad was "tax free" income

March 14, 2007, 6:37 p.m.My wife and I lived in Mexico for one year. I could not allow my wife to take my children to the school bus since she had sexual conotations abounded towads her from true christian Mexicans. So much for respect for Americans within Mexico.
Second point, try and wave a U.S.A. flag in Mexico. You will be in jail before you can say Amigo.
Third point, The graft in that country is so obnoxious its almost hillarious. I cannot fathom how that country could operate without it since its the norm.
Fourth point, Mexicans consider us thieves that stole their land in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and California, (Have I left any others out) and they demonstrate with their Mexican flag in America with that rehetoric.
Oh my, I guess I have qualms with Mexicans?

March 14, 2007, 6:38 p.m.Can you imagine that? You mean Bush isn't beloved everywhere he goes? I hope he gets a good look at the protests so that he can get a glimpse of how disliked he is.

March 14, 2007, 8:20 p.m.From the Article - "The vast majority of Mexicans oppose the war in Iraq and many also blame Bush for tough anti-immigration policies.
"We are in disagreement with the war policy," said craftswoman Guadalupe Fernandez, 64, who was marching but not involved in the violence.
In Merida, about 100 protesters marched to Bush's hotel for the second night in a row carrying Mexican flags and calling Bush a "murderer." "
I do belive that this is the main point of the whole protest (at least of the people who didn't go to heat up things). If Bush had came to my city I would go protest for the Bush war policy on my break time.

March 14, 2007, 8:48 p.m.Well, I am going to say one more thing. And this is truly my point of view. I truly do not care if people want to come the the U.S. (be they from Mexico, or any other country) looking for a better life, I commend them. That is what our nation is built from. What I do not like is to see that I can't get benefits from my own country in which I work so hard every day, but it is freely handed out for those who I feel want something for nothing. I do realize that some natural born citizens, and legal aliens do the same thing... want something for nothing. Life is just that...life. There are no freebies. I takes a lot of hard work to make it in the world. Sometimes I think it is easier to blame Mexicans because they make up the majority of illegals here. I do think that if someone is going to immigrate to the U.S., that they should learn English....not the other way around. I do apologize for some of my remarks earlier, they were not called for. Y'all have a nice night.

March 14, 2007, 9:15 p.m.Ah. Our beloved president. He is so loved that everywhere he goes people throw rocks at him. Oh course he is out eating with billionaires while the masses crack each other's heads open.

March 14, 2007, 9:49 p.m.you in the usa must see how stupid you make yourself look, america was stolen from the native americans and now you talk about immigrants crossing illegaly (youve made so many illegal invasions in other peoples countries) also the comment that the border guards should shoot to kill at the border , either way you win, speaks volumes about your country. and you wonder whyyour country is so hated by the rest of the world

March 14, 2007, 11:14 p.m.I think Bush should stay in S. America where they love him and where he wants to be or go to Iraq and be president he sure ain't worth a whole lot to the USA. Bush has done more damage to the USA and to the other countries than any President I can think of. Our country the USA is so far in debt that we might as well file bankrupsy and start over again with a new Government.
