Well, Rudy Guliani wouldn't be my pick for much of anything, much less president. His fame is built on 9/11. That does little to recommend him as the kind of person who should be president. I suspect that most of us, put in the same position, would have done much the same. People rise to the occasion more often than not.

His connection to Citgo is tenuous. Evidently, he bought into the company just a couple of years ago and the company has been in bed with Chavez and Venezuela for a very long time. I feel sure that Rudy has other ties in his past that will prove even more unsavory. He just looks like a slicko.

A fool has ties to another fool. Anyone mention the ties between the Bush and the bin Laden families for two generations yet?

Good post Beau, thanks. It seems that there is a disconnect between what is Right & what is Wrong. There seems to be a different definition than what most of were taught. When it comes to profit & money, it must be okay for some people to go ahead with business as usual.

Rudy is probably just the tip of the iceberg. ( I was amazed when I read the history of Sen. Prescott Bush, a couple of years ago.)

I now believe that the people in power are all connected in some form or another by an invisible umbilical cord that they continuially get their wealth from each other.

(It is so sad that they can not see themselves as others people see them!)

So - it's just Business. Like Mistresses, you keep it seperate from your Politics.

Unless you're a Republican throwing stones at Clinton...
