Rachel L. Holt, 35, had pleaded guilty to second-degree rape. She sobbed in court Friday as Superior Court Judge Calvin L. Scott gave her the mandatory minimum sentence.

Holt was initially charged with 28 counts of first-degree rape.
Police accused her of having sex with the boy that many times during an intense weeklong affair. She was also accused of suplying the boy with alcohol and allowing him to drive her car.
In her brief comments to the court, Holt apologized "to everyone who suffered" as a result of her actions, including the victim and his family.
"I hope you can forgive me," she said. "I know what I did was wrong."

I think If my teacher did that to me I would have kept my mouth shut and enjoyed the ride. A guy is different than a girl. A woman doesen't rape a guy .If he's normal!The guy teacher, I believe, can rape a girl.Duh! But the teacher should be smart enough to not get personal with a student, knowing their asking for trouble.She should not go to jail but she should not teach miners anymore. Put her in a collage so's not to waist her skills and then she'll have a better selection of guys at a leagle age to have fun with,and not getting in trouble with little boys.

This is absolutely horrible! The psychological effects of this on this young man will begin showing up in high school as a failure to have a normal relationship. This is going to lead to a total lack of concern for women, and may possibly lead to violent attacks on dates. This young man will definately need counseling to help him realise that sex is not the only thing in a relationship.

I think that the sentence was a bit ...stiff...Wrong but, how many prisons do you want to build to keep people from having SEX...It is their Brain that is not working!!! He could have said uhhhh NO....
