STONERS
March 18, 2007, 11:18 p.m."We're thinking championship already," said Johnson, only four races into the 36-race season. "That's really the mode anymore. You have to think about points and being in the top 12 all the time."
Johnson had the car to beat Sunday, leading 132 of the first 238 laps. But the only laps he led the rest of the way in the 325-lap event on Atlanta's 1.5-mile oval were the last three.

March 18, 2007, 11:56 p.m.And Jimmy wins two in a row. Nice way to finish since the DNF at Daytona. The mark of a champion. I loved Stewarts comments after the race. He recieves more respect from me everytime I see him talk now. I think he and Johnson along with Jeff Gordon are showing class now for NASCAR. Although they do have more than those three, they along with Khane, Jarret, Dale Jr. and most definitely Mark Martin share the class with the others I mentioned.
There are a few more but those are the ones that are now standing out.

March 19, 2007, 12:30 a.m.I am a Johnson fan. I thought he had some real talent coming into NASCAR and he has most definitely shown it. And I would love to see Jimmy win at the Samsung500 in April here in Texas. Cuase I will get to be in the pits... WOOO HOOO.

March 19, 2007, 2:34 p.m.Well, I can't help but hate Hendricks racing. I know I am going to take some hits for this but I don't care. I wish Stewart would've won.

March 19, 2007, 3:49 p.m.I think the drivers have more class than the commentators. When Jeff Gordon was passed by the pace car when he was in the pits having his car repaired, the commentor, I'm not sure which one, said he should have sped down pit road as the penalty would be starting at the tail end of longest line. But that would be better than being a lap down. But Jeff stayed within the rule even though it meant him going a lap down.

March 19, 2007, 9:51 p.m.There have been drivers over the years that have been rude pieces of chit. I am still holding out on the second Busch, Kyle that is. Cause he has not pulled the stunts his brother has. Ol ex-rubberhead, still have not come up with a nick name for him since he is not driving for Rousch anymore. Is a jerk and he would have to do a lot to make up for him being a jerk. I have seen him be a jerk to his fans too.
And even though I was very happy that Jimmy won the Cup last year. I was still pulling for Martin to win cause that man has done a whole lot for the sport. And his fans. And to me that means more than wins. Even though he has them.
