March 19, 2007, 7:07 p.m.Her Cunninham investigation led to Lewis, & I'm sure didn't end there. She couldn't possibly ignore her evidence. They'd better come up with a damn good reason for firing her, because it looks and smells like an obstruction of justice.

March 19, 2007, 9:01 p.m.The "connection" between Cunningham and Cheney, using Mitchell Wade as the conduit seems a bit tenuous and probably coincidental. However, if she was investigating this connection, it casts her dismissal in an even darker light.
She said in her testimony before the senate that there were ongoing investigations arising out of the Cunningham conviction. Obviously those should be aggressively followed up on. Given that she has been replaced by someone presumably more pliable, perhaps Congress should appoint a special prosecutor for the task.

March 19, 2007, 10:17 p.m.Yes she was fired because Bush & Co was trying to shut her up.
Just like Valerie Plame case, these Bushites will stop at nothing to intimidate.
They are just like the Mafia.
And now they take thier business off shore with Halliburton.
These guys have had all this crap planned from day one.
