Bush Urges US Not To Judge Iraq Based On How It's Going »
Posted by: ind06 2 years, 9 months agoWASHINGTON, D.C. - President George W. Bush announced today that he is tired of the American people judging the conflict in Iraq based on the status of the mission, instead wishing they would focus on the fact that the invasion was fundamentally just, Underneath Politics has learned.

March 20, 2007, 1:24 a.m.Please, base your judgments on how it was supposed to be, not on how it's turned out.

March 20, 2007, 1:37 a.m.President Bush did not make the above statement, at least not publicly. President Bush has not confided his wishes for the direction of the thoughts of the American public to Underneath Politics. Underneath Politics would surely not print them if he did for Underneath Politics is a satirical website devoted to humorous half truths, non truths and outright lies. Though you may be unhappy with the content and/or tone of the above post please do not make things worse by assuming that anything about this post is true or that Underneath Politics is in any way a legitimate news organization.
You may, however, safely assume: (1) That America has a government which includes a position known as "President" (2) The current occupant of said office possesses the last name of "Bush" (3) America is currently at war with another nation, known by the name "Iraq".
Unless you disagree.

March 20, 2007, 2:15 a.m.I think we need to start looking for a better solution to all of this, and I think I found one. WE should just pass a bill changing the name of Iraq to say "Al Qaeda" then we would have none of these problems. Yes we were right to go to war with Al Qaeda. we need more funding for our fight with Al Qaeda, and so on.

March 20, 2007, 4:05 a.m.You'd think if God told him to do it, the war would have turned out better. Then again, they say God works in mysterious ways.

March 20, 2007, 10:21 a.m.Noble reasons? Politicians as "God like"? God told him? The old college try? Is it possible for any leader to be more insane? It's plain that this man belongs in a rubber room with a special white jacket on. Anyone who doesn't see how unstable this man is, is just not listening. We're being led into hell by a mental midget who hears voices. The last time I heard someone claim to be following the vocies in his head, it was a guy being told, by his dog, to shoot Reagen. Isn't it a wonderful country, where even a retard can buy the presidency.

March 20, 2007, 11:53 a.m.Well, the invasion wasn't fundamentally just. There are many known facts on which to judge.
1) a pre-emptive strike against someone that was of no
direct threat to us (first time in U.S. history)
2) Afghanistan was a just war, until we left them twisting
in the wind-
3) -when it was announced that the Caspian sea did not have
oil in the quantity previously reported we invaded Iraq
one week later-
4) And that there is footage of ultra-conservative Carlyle
Group dividing up Iraq BEFORE 911...
I trust your judgment B737Tech.

March 20, 2007, 2:57 p.m."God tells me what to do and I do it," the President says. "If that's not good enough for the progressive's in this country then I am at a loss.
Oh what nest, is God going to tell him to invade Iran?
This man scares the hell out of me, to say he is dangerous is an understatement!

March 20, 2007, 4:26 p.m.The only sad thing here is I think that if Bush had actually said these things, there would still be some people who would agree him. :)

March 20, 2007, 5:34 p.m.This whole thing is in the humor slot and to be taken as such.
But you know, if I had some film, I could take some nice pictures if I had a camera. And if everything was all right, it would be all right.
I don't know if GWB would read this article (I fear he would drown in a deep thought), but he really ought to read it and enjoy it. He takes himself far too seriously. Those who lose the capacity to laugh at themselves are missing some of the best of life.

March 20, 2007, 5:39 p.m.I will continue to base my judgement of Iraq on the one guy I actually know from there, my buddy Haas. Haas is actually his last name but I always thought it was his first name and after calling him Haas for 6 months and him not saying anything, it pretty much stuck Lmao! And he says he likes it so whateva .. : D .. Haas with his shining eyes and laughing heart, his unending patience, his respect for ALL people, he's SO funny and sees humor & joy in so much when he's seen so much horror & war (the likes of which I will never see or could even imagine), and with such talent & passion for what he does (we graduated from cooking school together) he's gone on to do very well for himself.
Haas is a good man.

March 20, 2007, 7:20 p.m.I have read through all of these comments and I have not found one person who understands what is really going on in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I am just thankful that Al Gore and John Kerry were not elected.
Thanks once again to Cynthia McKinney who outed Al Gore as a racist in all of the Florida newspapers right before the 2000 election.

March 20, 2007, 7:45 p.m.Only Bush would present such a blatant lie !! Deliberate falsehood !! but, what's new ???
Is it True that Bush wants us to believe our leaders are "God Like" and can do no wrong ?? If this is true, Boy is he sick !! ... (suspected that anyway) ... hehehe ....
Think about it folks, doesn't "Homeland Security" smack of *der faderland* ???
Doesn't the "Global Warning" frenzy kinda remind you of "give 'em cake" ... anything to take their minds off of what is going on but, without giving Anything away !!
If, just IF 911 was a planned hoax, and Bush wants to be Charismatic ... well, I KNOW where the nation is headed ... Do YOU ???
