It's George Bush's fault. He made Katrina hit New Oleans because he doesn't like black people and now he's keeping the rain from Zimbabwe because the doesn't like black people.

New Oleans is not George Bush's fault. He only assigned incompetent Brownie to be in charge of FEMA. How dear people to expect rescue effort same night, brownie had a social party to attend. And king goerge was busy at the ranch.

Oh wait let's send troops to protect insured walmart junk.

This is an intersting quote from the article

"Zimbabwe has relied on food imports since 2001, when President Robert Mugabe ramped up a controversial programme to seize white commercial farms and redistribute them to blacks."

"Critics blame the farm seizures for a sharp decline in agricultural production in Zimbabawe."

As more of our corn is used for wthanol, the food shortages are going to increase. We'll have less to export or use in food aid

So if we push for more ethanol production in the US, then that means we would starve more people because there would be less corn to give away to countries that cannot feed their own people.

Hmmm. I wonder how the greenies would address that one.

I don't have the answers for world hunger, but I do know that it is because we daily turns our backs. There is enough food in this world so that no one should be hungry ..ever.

Someday maybe all the seperatism will stop between religions, borders and races and we will all see eachother as true brothers and sisters and refuse to let this happen.

              I know, I'm dreamin...

Prejudice led to this problem. The Civil War is still the bloodiest war in terms of American casualties, the US has paid the price of prejudice as well. There is only one race, human. Its sad in this day of information that this ignorant term "race" is still prominent. You reap what you sow. There should be no world hunger but men are more concerned with power than compassion.

There won't be a solution to Zimbabwe's food problems until Mugabe is thrown out of office and competent leadership takes over.

Fat chance of that happening soon

Unfortunately, many people have forgotten how properous Zimbabwe was and they probably never realized how much food that one country produced for the rest of Africa.

I wonder if Bush has ever thought of all of the lives we could save in places like Zimbabwe had he donated even a small portion of the money that we have squandered on our pointless war in Iraq?
