March 21, 2007, 12:16 p.m.So the Senate vote was, what, something like 94 to 2?
Anybody know what the House vote was?
Also, if this House is voting on this too, does that mean that both the House AND the Senate are going to be holding hearings on this matter?
Can't wait to see this show get started. About freakin' time.

March 21, 2007, 12:23 p.m.there was bound to be a showdown between the "unitary executive" and congress. it's about time congress got some balls. although seeing the way the repubs have stacked the courts over the past 30 years I think it's a foregone conclusion that rove will not be compelled to testify. where it would get interesting is if the court finds otherwise and the "unitary executive" still refuses to cough em up.

March 21, 2007, 12:23 p.m.Having been given a free pass for the last six years, it's about time that this administration is held accountable for its actions.

March 21, 2007, 12:49 p.m.I cannot understand how many Christians support Bush, who comes accross very deciteful. They angry at Clinton for a his sexual "sin" but give allownce to Bush to lie, decieve, and the list is long... and get away with it... does anyone knows where does it teach that those things are okay in the bible?

March 21, 2007, 12:59 p.m.bushco goes down in flames! I wonder if any republicans will learn anything from this?
Funny how history repeats itself. A large contingent of Americans saw this coming and predicted it 4-5-6 years ago.
I just regret so many innocent people got mowed down by this cabal.

March 21, 2007, 1:13 p.m.I really don't understand what Bush expects here. It's already been shown that the Justice Department officials that have been questioned on this matter gave false or misleading statements to Congress.
So why would any reasonable person expect Congress to demand anything less than testimony given under oath? They KNOW that they've ALREADY been lied to by this administration. With testimony given under oath, at least they have a legal recourse to do something about it.

March 21, 2007, 1:22 p.m.It's obvious that Bush and the congress can't get along and nothing will be accomplished in the nexy 2 years. So let's hold the elections 2 years early for the president AND congress! Too bad we can't really do this.

March 21, 2007, 1:51 p.m.Well, let's hope that Pelosi is smart enough to put impeachment back "on the table".
Although I'm sure she only will if the political wind happens to be blowing that way (i.e. the American voters overwhelmingly support it). So write you Congressmen people!!

March 21, 2007, 1:50 p.m.here go the libs again, All the facts will be available to them but thats not good enough for them, they have to go after bush again, and try to make a big deal out of nothing, If they don't get the facts out of the interviews they are free to take it to whatever level they want to. All they want to do is find some reason to impeach bush so they can look good in the upcoming election..

March 21, 2007, 2 p.m.here we go, nothing getting done except politics, the republicans did it with Clinton and now it's the lefts turn. We have less than 2 years to go and as a conservative I have seen this administration do nothing to further the cause of fiscal control, less govrnm't, really reducing spending and giving more tax cuts "to everyone", what a waste. I can't watch GWB speak because he is a blubbering idiot, my 19 yr old daughter is in her 2nd yr of college and has a better understanding of the english language. Don't hate us republicans we are as frustrated as everyone else.

March 21, 2007, 2:08 p.m.Why everybody is jumping up and down? Few comments have any
intellectual value. We are a low form of life.
We elected Carter, Clinton and Bush. We've got Government
we deserve. Look into the mirror and you will see who is a problem.
It is so easy to critisize. Somebody else will have to solve oil dependency, energy, obesity epidemic, rising health care costs, ect.
Meanwhile we are spending our effort on stupid issues such as who fired attorneys. Half of Federal Government employees should be fired for non-performance.
Remember history: Germans elected Hitler and Palestinians elected Hamas.
