Heavy rains triggered landslides that buried three homes in Pakistan's portion of Kashmir, leaving 12 people dead and more than 20 missing, police said Wednesday.

Ten members of one family died when their home collapsed after it was hit by a landslide on Tuesday in Bagh, a town south of the regional capital Muzaffarabad, police officer Mohammed Liaqat said.
At least two people died when a landslide hit two homes Tuesday in Doba Sayedan, another village in Kashmir, Liaqat said. Rescuers were digging for 26 others feared trapped in the two houses.
