North Korea nuclear talks grind to a halt »

Posted by: gatitabonitasen 2 years, 9 months ago

From the article: "Talks on North Korea's nuclear program ground to a halt in Beijing on Thursday, with the North Korean and Russian envoys both leaving for the airport after four days of negotiations went nowhere. North Korea had avoided discussing a February deal to shut its main nuclear reactor by mid-April since the talks began on Monday, demanding that $25 million frozen in a Macau bank first be transferred to a bank in Beijing."

OMG, they want money before dealing. I dont care if this is their moneys or not. They want a payoff to act like they may deal. When was the last time a standoff occoured that the hostile got all the money that he got before he/she got to go free. Only within the NATO convenctions. Give me a freakin break

What in the World is wrong here?! I've always found the North Koreans, Russians and the Chinese perfectly delightful and easy to talk to.

Man, if I were a suspicious person (and I am) I would think just MAYBE the North Koreans were ONLY in these talks to try and get access to their frozen funds. So they can buy more parts for their nuclear bombs, probably.

The North Koreans have played our leaders, both Democrats and Republicans like bullies in a playground. They make our negotiation teams seem juvenile and lacking reality. It seems like our Leaders have the mentality that a deal must be struck at any cost even if we eat crow again, like Bills previous stupid deal.

My question, who cares about N. Korea. They are the neighbor of China who should be the arbitor for an agreement. Why do we constantly stick our noses in every nations business and be the enabler and arbitor for what transpires?

Let this little despot and his brainwashed citizens, feel sorry about the citizens, eat nuclear fuel and war material. We donate rice and who does it go to, their military not their citizens. Remember they have one of largest standing armies in the world. All insanity to be involved.

This is what Iran will look like in 10 years. Leaders cant win when they invade or negotiate.

But once again Nkorea is just Chinas annex so if Nkorea does get caught distributing their crap it will be on China.

Well, this is typical N. Korea, with a typical N. Korean attitude.
